The Holiday Season.

I’m sorry this blog has been quiet recently. It’s a 24/7 job taking care of a newborn! He is a sweet little guy though and we are getting the hang of this parenting gig.

Our Thanksgiving was filled with family and turkey and wine in beautiful Richmond, Virginia. I hope yours was lovely as well. Lane got to meet one of his great grandpas which was particularly special. The circle of life, folks.

With Turkey Day over, it is finally acceptable to decorate for the holidays! December is a busy month for us with lots of travel, so my decorating will be minimal this year. I’m starting off with a little snippet of juniper to kick off the holiday season and listening to this playlist.

Happy hall decking! xoxo

  1. Hello Carolyn! I couldn’t find an email address for you, and wanted to thank you for the very delicious shortbread cookies that you sent for the #fbcookieswap. They are (were!) so good, and I look forward to getting the recipe. Congratulations on the birth of your baby!
